Mandates
How we engage.
We do not maintain a standard service offering. Each engagement is a mandate — defined by the specific strategic objective of the principal, structured for the matter at hand and conducted with complete discretion.
The categories below describe the types of mandates we accept. They are not a menu. They are a signal of the kinds of matters we are equipped to address.
Technology Sovereignty Mandates
Advising sovereign and institutional principals on the acquisition, development and protection of critical technology capabilities. These mandates address a principal's ability to operate independently of foreign technology dependencies in domains of strategic importance.
Strategic Repositioning
Engagements where a principal requires a fundamental reassessment and redesign of their strategic position — across capital, technology, geopolitical relationships or organizational architecture. Often initiated in response to a significant shift in the operating environment.
Capital Architecture
The design of capital structures, investment frameworks and deployment strategies for principals managing significant private or sovereign wealth. We advise on architecture, not execution — providing the strategic framework within which capital decisions are made.
Technology Acquisition & Partnership
Identifying, evaluating and structuring access to frontier technologies for principals who require capabilities they do not currently possess. We advise on acquisition strategy, partnership structures and the geopolitical dimensions of technology transfer.
Institutional Architecture
The design or redesign of institutional structures — offices, advisory bodies, investment vehicles, holding structures — for principals requiring organizational forms that match the complexity and confidentiality requirements of their strategic objectives.
Crisis & Special Situations
Rapid-response strategic counsel for principals navigating acute crises — geopolitical, reputational, financial or operational. We provide structured analysis, decision architecture and strategic options under time pressure and with full discretion.
Long-Horizon Strategic Programs
Multi-year engagements for principals with the capacity and intent to execute sustained strategic transformation. We design the roadmap, advise on sequencing and provide ongoing counsel as the program evolves.
How mandates work
Structured for the matter. Not for the market.
Every mandate is bespoke. The following principles govern how we structure and conduct all engagements.
Qualification
All mandates are subject to qualification of the principal, the matter and the absence of conflicts. We do not accept mandates that conflict with existing engagements or that fall outside our areas of genuine competence.
Confidentiality
Every mandate is conducted under strict confidentiality. We do not disclose the existence, nature or outcome of any engagement — to any party, under any circumstances.
Scope
Mandates are defined by scope, not by time. We engage until the strategic objective is achieved or the principal determines the engagement is complete. We do not bill by the hour.
Access
Mandates are initiated by private introduction from a qualified intermediary or by direct confidential approach. We do not accept unsolicited proposals or respond to public tenders.
We do not take every mandate we are offered. We take the ones that matter.
If you believe your matter warrants a confidential conversation, we are prepared to listen. Initial contact should be made through the Private Access channel.
